Bernardsville Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary hospital in Bernardsville, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide top-notch medical, surgical, and dental care to our patients.

Education: Veterinary Degree from Western College of Veterinary Medicine, 1986

Most Memorable Pet:  I have loved them all dearly.  Each has given me memories in their own special way.

Loves/Hobbies: History, travel, hiking and nature, art, and gardening

Little Known Fact:  I have a degree in art history and managed an art gallery for a year before starting my veterinary studies.

Motto: To give all animals the quality of compassion and care I give my own.

Education: BS with Honors in Animal Science, Cornell University, 1983

Vet Degree: DVM Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University, 1987

Most Memorable Pet: Toby, a brown tabby kitten, was the first pet I adopted on my own as a young and independent adult fresh out of vet school.

Accolades/Noteworthy Accomplishments: Choosing a rewarding career that I still enjoy over 30 years later, while also raising two well-adjusted, grown and almost-flown sons.

Loves/Hobbies: Summer, good food and coffee, sightseeing, jazz music, horse racing, vacationing in our national parks and in New England.

Little Known Facts: I have been to ALL of my undergraduate reunion weekends and plan to continue until I am recognized as the oldest alum in attendance.  I also love long-distance solo road trips.

Education: BA from University of Pennsylvania, JD from St. John’s University, & Penn Foster College Veterinary Technician Program

Most memorable pet: My seven year old Lab, Bailey, not only for our wonderful hiking and swimming adventures, but also for his legendary “dietary indiscretions” – including a whole raw chicken, a popsicle stick, a box of prunes and Starbucks k-cups. 

Accolades/Noteworthy Accomplishments: Exhibited photographs in the Soho Photo Gallery in NYC, and my wonderful husband Evan & beautiful daughters Samantha & Ariel.

Little known fact about me: I practiced corporate law in NYC for 15 years and worked as a professional photographer.

Favorite Hobby: Reading

Most memorable pet: Love them all! Duke, Cody, Shane, Austin and my current dogs Gizmo and Zoey! But if I had to give a reason to why I love animals and working with them, it would be growing up with my faithful, loving dog, Duke.

Most Memorable Pet: “Lex” found her way into our basement completely trained and with a set of porcupine quills in her nose.  After having the quills removed we tried to find her owners but no one claimed her.  She lived a long and healthy life in the country with us and had many adventures.

Accolades/ AccomplishmentsState and Big Ten Champion Fencing Champion and member of the U.S.A. Junior World Fencing Team.  Selected to the 2017 team representing the United States at the European Canine Agility Open in Italy.

Most Memorable Pet: Frau, a weimaraner, my first dog growing up.  My parents got her 3 months after they "got me."

Favorite Hobbies: Dog grooming, swim meet official, volunteer in local youth sport programs, golfer

Little known facts about me: Former 4-year basketball player for the University of Notre Dame, a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do
